MIAI Cluster is issuing a call for projects to support the creation of industrial " chairs ," open to UGA, UCA, and USMB.
TheAIMIAI Cluster has issued an ongoing call for proposals to support the creation of industrialchairs s that foster collaboration between academic research and industry in the field of artificial intelligence.
Who is eligible to apply?
This call for applications is open totenured researchers and faculty members affiliated with one of the three campuses of the University of Grenoble Alpes ( MIAI Cluster ) (UGA, UCA, or USMB) or members of the consortium ( CEA, CNRS, Inria, etc.).
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, the project must have asecured financial commitment from an industry partner at the time of application submission.
The industry partner must contribute at least €85,000, exclusively in the form of a financial contribution (cash), for example to fund:
- a CIFRE thesis;
- a postdoctoral fellowship;
- a research engineer;
- or any other project-related expense.
In return, the AIMIAI Cluster ation may co-fund up to 85,000 €.
Evaluation Criteria
Projects are evaluated based on the following criteria, among others:
Special attention will be given to projects that also receive support from a foundation (see the point below)

Funding may also be sought from the foundations of other partner institutions, including: the Grenoble INP Foundation, the UCA Foundation, and the USMB Foundation
Calendar
Applications are accepted year-round. Applications are reviewed by the executive committee of the AI " MIAI Cluster " as soon as possible after they are submitted.
