Conference on artificial intelligence

Conference Scientific culture
On  May 26, 2025

The conference will be in French

In recent years, there has been a rapid surge in the capabilities and applications of artificial intelligence (AI), providing effective and promising solutions across a wide range of fields. However, AI models remain vulnerable to biases resulting from data embedded with stereotypes and systemic inequalities.
What are the cognitive and methodological biases specific to AI? Who is being left out of AI development?

These questions will be addressed through presentations by two experts in the field: Florence Sèdes (professor and researcher at IRIT) and Isabelle Collet (professor at the University of Geneva). The presentations will be followed by a roundtable discussion featuring Agnès Helme-Guizon (associate professor in marketing at UGA).
The roundtable will be moderated by Sophie Achard (scientific director of the MIAI Institute), Jennifer Molloy (researcher at DCM), and David Gatineau (researcher at DCM), and will conclude at 4:30 p.m. with a convivial coffee break, offering an opportunity to continue the conversation informally.

The conference is open to all by registering via the link below:

The conference is organised by labex Arcane, in association with CBH Graduate School and MIAI Cluster.
