Multidisciplinary Institute in Artificial intelligence
The Industrial Insights on AI are an initiative of the Innovation board of MIAI@Grenoble Alpes and Minalogic and supported by the following organizations: the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Direccte.
After the previous season dedicated to the challenges of AI from the perspective of application markets and its industrial uses, Season 2 will focus on a specific aspect of Artificial Intelligence that has sparked much discussion in recent months: Generative AI. Seen both as an opportunity for businesses and as a source of ethical concerns, this new season will provide an overview of one of the major technological advances of the decade.
We will attempt to shed light on how generative AI's work, in their textual, audio, visual, and even video forms, in order to explore some industrial applications. We will also share the conclusions of the think tank that Minalogic and GEM facilitated in 2023 regarding the risks associated with generative AI, particularly in relation to deepfakes, as well as the recommendations from this group on how to better understand, detect, and guard against these risks.
