The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region has clearly recognized the potential of this field by making AI one of the three flagship themes it actively supports. Together with the French State, it has developed a dedicated roadmap to foster the growth of this sector and to position Artificial Intelligence as both a future driver and a key market for the region.
The AI meetings are designed to meet the objectives of this roadmap, which aims to:
Artificial Intelligence is one of the key strengths of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Its ecosystem includes many companies that use or integrate AI solutions.
Within this ecosystem, Minalogic and Digital League are recognized as leading organizations driving the development of this network of stakeholders.
As committed players promoting AI within the regional ecosystem, Minalogic, Digital League, and MIAI@Grenoble Alpes launched in 2021 a cycle of monthly events under two banners: Insights into AI and AI Meetings.
In 2021, as part of its efforts to foster the regional AI community, Minalogic organized a series of events in partnership with MIAI, supported by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, the Direccte, Digital League, and Lyon is AI.
Insights into AI provided expert perspectives and answers to key questions raised by Artificial Intelligence and its growing impact across all economic sectors.

In 2022, Fridays of AI will explore AI challenges through the lens of application markets addressed by this technology: Industry 4.0, Defense, Textiles, IoT, Cultural and Creative Industries, Environment, Healthcare, Data, and Marketing.
They will also address critical issues related to legal and regulatory frameworks, which remain a priority for the European Commission.
Training, a cornerstone for building a workforce skilled in this new technology, will also be among the topics discussed.
Is France on its way to becoming the next AI champion? That is indeed the ambition of the French Government, which has recently given new momentum to its national AI strategy launched in March 2018. Backed by a €2.22 billion budget over the next five years, this second phase sets ambitious goals around the Research–Training–Industry triptych.
Fridays of AI are fully aligned with this dynamic, engaging the region in this strategic direction.
