AI on Trial: Attend the Trial of Artificial Intelligence in Clermont-Ferrand!

Join us for a unique and immersive event: a theatrical conference where you are the jurors.

Artificial intelligence in the dock: does it deserve to be convicted?

This is the central question of the AI Trial, an immersive, theatrical conference format that is accessible to all audiences. In just two hours, this original concept offers a playful and interactive way to explore the pros and cons of artificial intelligence.
This fictional trial highlights 16 major charges: environmental impact, invasion of privacy, technological singularity, algorithmic opacity, copyright, loss of autonomy, harassment, manipulation, social and economic impact, and more. These are all issues that concern the general public, and the conference provides clear and accessible answers to them.

The final verdict?

It’s delivered by the audience: every attendee becomes a juror and votes at the end of the trial!

An event proposed by the FIDLE training program in artificial intelligence, with the support of CNRS, the MIAI Cluster IA, and UGA.
