Join the Winter School on Social Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Multimedia (SoRAIM), that will take place in Autrans (in the Vercors mountains, near Grenoble) from February 9th to 13th, 2026.
The goal of the school is to bring together researchers from complementary fields—such as computer vision, speech/audio processing, and human-robot interaction—who share a common interest in social robotics. The event aims to foster cross-disciplinary exchange and discussion, both through formal courses and informal interactions.
Set in the beautiful Vercors mountains, the school takes place in Autrans, a scenic and easily accessible location from Grenoble, offering many opportunities for outdoor activities and informal networking in a relaxed atmosphere.
The topics of the school are:
Social and affective signal processing (Prof. Magalie Ochs),
Human-robot interaction and social robotics (Prof. Silvia Rossi),
Conversational speech synthesis (Prof. Éva Székely),
Computer vision (and beyond) for robot/social navigation (Dr. Christian Wolf),
Multi-modal multi-person dialogue (Prof. João Magalhães),
Experimental psychology and social robotics (Dr. Maribel Pino).
